After two hours on the boat we arrived in the little harbor of Stone Town. The special thing about Stone Town are all these little alleys that make you feel like your going back in time. There lots of culture and the fact that you can easily walk through this city is what makes it unique in Africa.
The goal for today was to reach the top of the highest waterfall, Sanje Waterfall, in Tanzania. With its 180 meters that’s quite a tough mission. After we had seen the top our guide Charles insisted on showing us the base as well. All the way at the bottom it became clear how high the waterfalls actually were.
Once you cross the border with Tanzania everything changes. Luckily for us we only had to drive a short distance to the Utengule Coffee Lodge. You don’t expect anything from it when you consider the state of the road leading towards it but once you’re there it’s just like paradise especially if you’re a coffee addict.
